The new JT hot air station features a button on the handpiece to activate and deactivate the air flow.

This control system is a comfortable alternative to the red button located on the front side of the control unit, helping the operator to focus on the results of the rework process.

If the timer function is enabled, it can be also started/stopped by pressing this new button. Like the previous version JT, the JT is also compatible with an external pedal.

The handpiece has been re-styled and features an improved ergonomics.

The JT  is for desoldering all types of SMD’s particulary QFPs and PLCCs of any size.

The station uses a system based on protector-extractors and hot-air flow, which makes desoldering clean and quick, while protecting the other components by concentrating the heat onto the IC.

A medium-sized SMD, for example, can be desoldered in 20 seconds.
